We all face tough times in our lives. There may be days where we may feel like giving up and throwing in towel. But, just know if God has blessed you to see another day, He is not threw with you yet. He still has more in store for you. The word of God tells us that the enemy job is to kill, steal, and destroy. (John 10:10)
Satan will try to overwhelm you with anxiety and fear. He will try to make you feel like you are a POW (prisoner of war) but, he is a defeated foe. For greater that is within you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). You have a higher power that is on your side and within you. God will protect, cover, lead, guide, and direct you. If you put your trust in him and follow his leading.
Hebrews4:16 states,
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Philippians 4:6 also says,
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
As a believers we can boldly go to the throne of grace. But so many time we just stop at the petitions (prayers). Do we ever humble ourselves before God and give him thanks for hearing and answering our prayers?
In John 4:10 states,
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
When we come to God we must lay aside our pride, dignity, superiority and arrogance. If we had the solution to every one of our problems we wouldn’t be in the mess that were in. God is the only one that can navigate us through our circumstances. He has the wisdom to see every roadblock, trap and snare that the enemy has set for us.
We have to trust and believe that God is working that situation out on our behalf and for our good.
While God is working it out . Just know that the enemy is not going to stop doing his job of making you doubt what you have prayed for. That’s why it important that you keep reading and believe the Word of God and declaring the word of God over your situation.
We have to position ourselves in a place of victory. Knowing that the battle is already won. We can stand firm waving our banner of victory instead of throwing in our towel of defeat.
God is with you, covering you, besides you, in front of you and behind you.
You are not running to the victory but from the victory. Because the battle is already won. So don’t throw in the towel.
